I had purchased this item originally with great disappointment when it was delivered. I attempted it a second time after speaking with CS. Someone did indeed listen ,and managed to hear me, and deliver the item that was originally described in the catalog. I thank you very much, as my son was so pleased with this gift, which I hope he will have for many years as a keepsake.

The pocket knife was sent to me with engraved initials at the end of the handle above the year, but it was not engraved as show in the picture, going across the middle of the knife. I was surprized when I saw it.

My husband loves the personalized knife he got for Christmas. He loves to collect things to pass down to our children and this fits the bill. I found the picture a bit misleading as I was expecting his initials to be engraved on the bone piece (as the pic illustrates). However, both the initials and year are engraved on the brass end. Otherwise, great knife.

Although it was stated that the ends would be brass and that is where the engraving would be done, I think the photo should be updated.
It is very nice quality, I just hope the person who picked it out likes it when they open it Christmas Eve.

I purchased this pocketknife for my husband for our 18th Wedding Anniversary. It is a timeless, classic piece of work and displays excellent craftsmanship. This is my second purchase of this pocket knife as a birthday gift for my husband. He's pleased with the quality of the knife; however, it is not easy to use. Unlike other pocket knives that folds easily, this one is difficult to fold. But it is a very well-crafted knife for a collector's item. So far, my husband now has two of this collector pocket knives in his drawer sitting amongst his socks. He's afraid to use coz it might cut his finger while closing the knife.
