...wasn't sure what to expect, and to my surprise, my "stuffy" far exceeded my expectations! Absolutely LOVE handmade gifts...especially when the quality is excellent! If you happen to love animals as I do, as well as a classic "stuffy", I highly recommend choosing an animal from "Beyond Teddy Bears" line.

That info came on a card with the purchase, and makes the item even more special. I choose the elephant, and it's neat that it was made by women who see elephants in their everyday life. I hope that Sundance fairly compensated them for this quality product and that they will give the cooperative more business in future.
The elephant stands on two legs like the monkey, zebra, donkey, etc. It is a solid grey from a distance, but the undyed nature of the yarn means it has a beautiful variation of shade up close. It stands 10.5" high and 8.5" wide.
To be honest, I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my dog, who has outgrown chewing his toys. It has acrylic stuffing (no beans), and yarn facial features, so it would be safe for any other gentle dogs out there. Well ... it *would* have been good for mine, except that it was sooo cute ... I stole this one for me. First time I've ever done that, if that tells you anything about this product! The other night I dozed off with the elephant in my arms, but when I awoke, I discovered my dog snuggling with it across the room. Guess this one will be shared!!

These stuffed toys are unique, soft, and large enough for my little one to hug as he falls asleep every night! Attractive and fun, these little additions to our toy collection satisfy my family's need for fun and affection!

There is nothing on the market like these. I have a cheetah, and thank god I bought him before those were gone. He sits on my dresser, and nothing else would go with my other-century feel bedroom. He charms the child inside the grownup me.
