Tolix exudes style and these stools are a great look. The center slot makes moving them easy and the padded rubber feet do not mar the floor. We love the low profile in the kitchen and moving to the patio for outdoor use is so slick! Great buy and fast delivery!
i was disappointed to see the stools in better homes and gardens because we like unique items but now tolix is seemingly mainstream....

I bought two stools after seeing them at a friend's house and a great local coffee shop. Our previous wooden kitchen stools were very inexpensive and kept breaking. In contrast these are quite sturdy and are a good balance of practical and stylish. I wouldn't describe any stool as comfortable but these are fine. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Although these stools are costly, they are worth it in quality and design. I used a discount coupon which helped a little. I have seen these stools in the pages of Better Homes and Gardens and Martha Stewart Living. I am very glad I purchased them.

The shipping was really fast. It shipped from UT on the 8th and arrived in PA on the 13th. I ordered 2 chairs and they shipped together in one box.
I agree with other peoples comments that the stools do not look like the website or catalog pictures. The website shows them with a somewhat matte/glossy look, a lot like stainless steel. But they actually look dull and spray-painted gray. There is a very slight brushing effect to them. Overall, they look like they were faux painted to look like raw steel.
Although they don't look like the pictures, I still like them. They still have an industrial look that I wanted, are very sturdy, and seem well made. Be aware that they are on the high side for a standard 30" counter, so there will be about a 7.5" clearance for your legs.

I was excited to see sundance carried them for much less $$$$ than other retail stores, they look perfect in my kitchen and they arrived in a flash couldn't believe how fast! Great quality and they don't wobble...

Great stools--we've ordered 2 sets, and they are just what we wanted. Our daughter liked ours so much that we got them for her for Christmas. Sundance had them priced better than 2 other retailers. We are always impressed with the items from Sundance.

I purchased three of these for our bar and considering getting a couple more for the kitchen. They are high quality and very comfortable for a metal stool. I have shopped locally and while I have found some similar, they don't match the quality construction of these, and are priced the same or more. Definately recommend this product.

The barstool does not really look like the picture above. I had expected a "rougher" more industrial look and these are too nice. The only reason I kept the stools is that I was - sadly - too lazy to figure out returns.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It really doesn't look as nice in person as it does when photographed in the catalog and it's way to expensive for what you get in a bar stool. I'm returning this item to Sundance.

These stools are fantastic. They have a nice muted exterior on them which gives them an understated feel and they have that chic-urban-industrial look. Plus, they're easy for my little kids to sit on and very stable. I highly recommend them! Another bonus, they ship really fast.

These stools were everything I hoped for and more! They look great in our open kitchen. They are both timeless and modern! We did find two large scratches on two different stools upon delivery, however.
