I read a review that mentioned there was no foot rest, but thought that since we were using it at counter height it wouldn't matter; we are a tall family. I was wrong and would really prefer a stool with a place to rest a foot... Also the seat wobbles which makes it seem cheap. It looks beautiful though and serves it's purpose.

came upon these while shopping for adjustable counter/bar stools. normally wouldn't purchase a piece such as this without examining it and it was a mistake to buy these online. the stools are very nice looking, to be sure. however, they are essentially useless as seating. the three-legged base is very unstable - it is extremely easy to tip these stools while sitting on them. additionally, there is no foot rest on the stool. i'm embarrassed that i didn't fully appreciate this from the web page image. this makes sitting in the stool very awkward and uncomfortable - unless, maybe you adjust the height so your feet are on the floor. i couldn't make this work comfortably, at all. besides, when my feet touch the floor, the stool is too short for the counter or bar. however, i can't say enough good things about sundance customer service.

I was disappointed with this purchase. The stools look GREAT, however they are very very very wobbly and not sturdy at all. I almost tipped over 2-3 times! I think if they had four legs it would help.

I had been admiring this stool for quite some time and finally decided to splurge. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the price. It was a stretch for me. But I love the stool. To me it is a work of art, and for a nice piece of art, it is a deal.

I really enjoy these stools. They are a little bit smaller in scale than I expected, but I probably should've paid more attention to the dimensions. Overall they are very nice and look very rustic/shabby chic.

This is a good buy. The stool look great and has an industrial look. The price is right and some of the other stools with a similar look at Crate and Barrel and Restoration Hardware were higher priced. I got these stool using a 20% off coupon code so it made them a great deal. I bought the black ones because I have oil bronzed hardware and white cabinets. The black color matched the hardware very nicely. Don't plan on sitting on these for a long periods of time they are not the most comfortable. The base is smaller then expected but still looks great.

Everyone who sees them loves them. Wish they went just a little bit higher for my counter, but I will live with them being a tad short, because they are great! Have stainless steel appliances, so they match well.

Bought tis stool to help give our guestroom/study a hip vintage feel. Purchased it in the red. Best buy ever! It was exactly what i was looking for. Thought i would have o search tos of random shops... But found online via LA Times article... Absolute perfectuon. It is a perfect fir for our desk. The seat swivels up and down and the construction is flawless and made to look antique.

LOVE these chairs - they are perfect for our kitchen nook and high table. So funky and fun!

I'm overall delighted with the two black stools I ordered after looking for ages for affordable vintage-style stools that would adjust to an odd-height table. These fit the bill in looks and solid, heavy construction, and they arrived amazingly fast. The "almost" perfect part comes because (1) I didn't consider the fact that there's not a footrest (the connecting leg supports are indented too far for that and aren't very high off the floor) so the stools aren't as comfortable as they might be, and (2) the legs aren't the same distance apart so the connecting supports aren't symmetrical--there's no functional problem with that, I just can't imagine why they'd design it that way and it's contrary to my OCD desire for order! The metal seats are really nice--slightly distressed/slightly shiny.

I like the weight, the size, the shape, the appearance, the metal seat, the sturdiness and timeless, rustic look. At 5'4"' I wish the seat could go about one inch lower so that my feet could rest more securely on the floor while I paint. Overall a great product.

The stool is really clean and simple looking. The adjustable height settings make it perfect for our area. It's also surprisingly comfortable! Sundance company shipped it on time and exactly as stated. I am completely happy with my purchase.

the white stool in the photo and as described is not accurate. It is actually a creamy beige color. The photo needs to be updated as it is way off. Otherwise they are great. Very solid, pretty.

Perfect stool for the kitchen. I just ordered another one! I have stainless steel appliances and a black counter top with white tile--the 'black and steel' combination of the stool is perfect. (Of course, other colors are available.)
