I have been looking at this sweater for a long time and finally bought it in spice. Because of previous reviews I ordered a size down, medium. I am 5'6" and 155 lbs and usually order a large in sweaters. The colors are a little darker than shown, but gorgeous. I usually wear it open, probably would need the large if I wanted to button it most of the time. But I think it is more chic open. I immediately got compliments on it. I love the big collar, if it is chilly I push it up a little, wonderful. It can be dressed up with black pants and top or down with jeans. Because of the way it is knit, be careful not to snag it on big rings or bracelets when putting it on and taking it off. I love it!!!!

I love this sweater, which is warm enough for most outside days in Colorado. I ordered a larger than normal size so I could put it over whatever I am wearing when I take the dogs out or trek down to the barn.

I purchased this sweater because I like variety in my wardrobe, and this piece definitely fits that bill. I got it in blue and the colors are gorgeous. It's important to read the reviews though, because the comments all prepared me for the larger fit. I usually wear a small in Sundance clothing, but based on the reviews I got an extra small. (I'm 5'8, 130#, with a slight frame) And, yes, it's a boxier fit and the collar is very large. However, the uniqueness adds a difference to my wardrobe. It's a piece that will never go out of style!

I loved the way this looks on the model, so I ignored a number of reviews that I should have paid heed to.
It really does run large. I order a fair amount from Sundance and have good luck with sizing. But I am 5'5" and 120 pounds and this sweater was enormous on me. I ordered a small, and it was in no way anything like what one thinks of as "small."
I ordered it for a special occasion and really wanted it to work, but it was huge on top, boxy, unflattering, and the colours were not what I hoped. So I paid $20 total in shipping fees back and forward for the privilege of trying it on. Sigh.

I am a size 8 and ordered a Medium the first time and exchanged it for a Small. The Small was a little snug and the Medium was roomy. As others say, the collar is a bit heavy and I do wish for pockets as well, but I think the overall stylishness is great and such a wonderful alternative to a bulky coat.

I have recently purchased this gorgeous cardi. It is very warm, so very suitable for a cold winters day. The colours are beautiful and blend well together.

I bought the blue color first and though it was pretty, i did not care for the combination of blues and the size large was still too tight when I buttoned it shut. So I ordered an XL in the color spice and i was extremely pleased with the fit and the color. The top and the botton colors seem to blend together better and sweater falls just right. The shawl collar is a bit bulky under a coat and I was wishing it was an actual hood. but overall I like the sweater, it is very warm too. I am 5' 8" and medium build.

I usually read all reviews before purchasing, some good and some not so good. You have to want to take the chance and see if it is for you. I love Sundance products, but are just a little pricey. I took the plunge and bought the sweater and a necklace. The quality is very good, and it fits perfect. Being 6.2 it was a perfect fit for me with what other people describe how it fit them. The necklace was a little small, and I am looking to get an extender for it, since I love it that much. Great products, have more sales, and better ones though.

I bought the xs regular length blue Copenhagen cardigan and it's gorgeous! I'm about 100lbs and 5'2" and bust 34c. It comes about 4 inches above my ankles and has plenty of room to layer underneath. I wear it with black leggings and thin black turtleneck with black riding boots. It's so warm! I get so many compliments! Even my college "fashionista" daugter is in love with it. Buy this , you WILL never forgive yourself if you don't own this finely made piece!! Great price!

I bought this in blue for my daughter as a birthday present. I was hesitant because some of the other reviewers said it was huge and shapeless, though beautiful. My daughter is a size 6, so I ordered a small. Perfect fit. I would say this sweater has become a favorite since it seems to be a "goes everywhere" item.

I had been wanting this sweater a looooong time and my hubby managed to get an XS in Spice for Christmas. Yay! I am only 5 feet tall under 100 lbs, so I was concerned that no petite XS was avaialable. Still, I am very happy with it -- I will take a slightly loose fit rather than not have it at all. I do agree with other reviewers that pockets would have been a nice touch. Belt loops could have been a good idea, too. And I do think the colors in the photo are pumped up and brightened; in real life they are still gorgeous but more toned down. It is boxy but I don't see that as an issue. I have worn from one to 3 layers under it and knew from reading other reviews that it could walk the line between coat and sweater and I enjoy it that way. I don't have a problem with the large collar at all--that is part of the style. I would have been disappointed to not have received this sweater and will enjoy it for many years!
