Great Suit!

I had been coveting my niece's vintage swimsuit and wondering where I could find something like it when I saw this. It fits the bill perfectly and has a lovely fit. I am 5'7", 125 lbs, with a long torso and the length of the size 8 is perfect. Also I was concerned about the claim that it fits up to a DD, being a B, but it fits there too with no bulk or gapping. Love it!

I was looking for a retro style swim suit, that is flattering and pretty, to include fitting well in all the right places. This suit is all that, and is comfortable.

Finally the perfect swimsuit

After a certain age swimsuits can be a challenge. Most of us aren't models of lean fitness by then. So while my 5'7", 140 lb frame is fit enough to keep me happy, there's still a bit here and there that didn't used to be. I wasn't sure if this suit with the ability to go up to a DD bust size would work with my B, but it's a perfect fit. The wonders of stretchy material! Size 10 worked well and seems to be true to size. I love the way the skirt can be tailored to more or less coverage and the halter ties mean this suit will stay on when diving or jumping in. The last time I was this happy with a bathing suit was a long time ago.

Chic and age appropriate for 40+ gals

I'm 41, 5' 7 1/2" and 138 lbs. I am very fit (jogger, weight lifter) but just had my second baby 18 months ago and am still struggling to lose that last 10 pounds. I am a "true" 32 D/DD, but can also wear 34 C/D. This suit is GREAT, and I have been searching high and low. I bought size 8 and 10. In regular clothes I am a size 8, though pre-baby I was a 4/6 (and a 32C). Both the size 8 and 10 in this suit fit, but size 8 is a little too short in the torso at my current weight, and I'd have to keeping tugging at the top layer to maintain that ruched effect in the size 8. Size 10 feels much more comfortable (i.e., no tugging), but to my husband, both suits "look" the same on me. So I'm keeping both-- just in case I finally lose that last 10 lbs!
The suit is very well made in two layers. That little mini-skirt effect you see in the picture is real--you can pull that top layer up or down depending on your preference. The under-layer has a nude color fabric at the midsection. The tag has the cup size marked "DD", and I think that is accurate. If you are small on top, this suit might be too roomy. If you are sagging a bit (as am I, what with the age and childbearing and all!) this suit offers support, but doesn't really give much "lift". Otherwise it is beautiful and much different from the matronly old lady suits out there for women my age!

Everything is great about this suit except the color is a little more brownish or muted than the picture shows. It is very flattering on my largish body, and very comfortable.

I am in my 40's and in good shape although not a young model! This suit gives just the right amount of support everywhere its needed and gives full coverage of the behind which I prefer, and looks and feels sexy and terrific! The straps can be tied behind the back for a strapless look, with full bosom support (I prefer the straps as shown in the picture, however). I am normally a size 8-10 with a 38C bust and the size 10 bathing suit works well for me. Highly recommended.
