This rug is even better in person. The colors are as pictured. The details up close make it a gem and amazing value. I will add that it was all I hoped it would be--an amazing complement to the Heraldic Dhurrie I purchased years ago. They are absolutely beautiful together in a large living/dining room space. Both have warm spicy tones, which liven and ground a room at the same time. I also purchased the rug pad sold by Sundance. It is a must for this rug...worth the added expense to protect the rug and keep it in place on a hard word floor.

We looked for a year for a rug for our dining area. This has fit the area perfectly. Wonderful quality for the price. It is a beautiful rug. Great "western" feel without being overboard "southwestern. Colors are gorgeous, muted yet strong. It looks like it may shed a bit and you will need a rug pad if using it on a hardwood floor. We are very happy with this purchase.
