The only thing that was "weird" or "off" about the gift card is the email. I did not request an email sent to the recipient, so when I revceived an email the following day with MY name on it (not my recipient's name), it made me feel/think that someone gave ME a gift card for the same amount! It was confusing and it made me make a call to Sundance to clarify. I think you should not send a gift certificate email, the receipt email with the recipient's name on it is enough as far as I am concerned.

The card itself was plain, the packaging for the gift card seemed excessive. I sent it by mail so the packaging was stiff and sort of heavy. I suggest you put a little more personal-looking design into the gift card,and a similar personal design/ lighter package for the packaging of the gift card.

What more can anyone want then a gift certificate to Sundance - you can browse for hours through the catalogs and still never have enough to purchase everything you want. Although, there is satisfaction knowing you can have a small slice of heaven when you do finally make your purchase.

The only reason I purchased a gift card is that out of five items I chose for my daughter, ALL of them were on back-order. I usually don't get a gift card for my daughters since it is such an impersonal gift, but I was forced to. In all the many years I have been shopping with Sundance, this is the first time I have encountered this problem. I hope this issue isn't a sign of things to come!
